These unsurpassable conditions made it possible for the Grasco Group to establish its first agroindustrial project, the palm oil plantation Indupalma S.A.. Designed to supply the group’s production facilities and international clients with excellent palm oil raw material, Indupalma S.A. classified the Group as a pioneer in the harvesting of african oil palm and as Colombia’s largest producer. Aware that finished product quality is dependent on the harvesting, extraction and handling of palm oil raw material, the Grasco Group’s on-site administration has implemented at the plantation a strict quality assurance program which ensures that the refining plants will only process raw material of the highest quality. To produce the diversified product line, the group complements its crude palm oil and crude palm kernel oil products with other raw materials such as imported and domestic oils seeds and crude soy bean, sunflower, corn and other vegetables oils.
